Your experience begins with a detailed Meet & Greet and briefing at our meeting point in Funchal, where our instructor will ensure your Radon Solution Hybrid 8.0 CX 500 e-bike is perfectly adjusted for comfort and performance. After a full explanation of the route and GPS system, the tour sets off at 09h30 and lasts approximately 3 hours, finishing around 12h30.

Thanks to the smooth electric assistance, you’ll enjoy the ride effortlessly, even on steeper sections, allowing you to focus on the scenery rather than the effort. As you cycle along quiet roads and residential areas, you’ll encounter panoramic Atlantic views, feel the ocean breeze, pass modern Madeiran villas, and gradually make your way toward one of the island’s most iconic landmarks.

The route includes a stop at the Cristo Rei viewpoint in Garajau, where dramatic cliffs meet the deep blue ocean — an ideal spot for photos and a relaxed coffee break while taking in the scenery.

For those who wish, this tour also offers the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim at the Garajau Nature Reserve beach. One of the great advantages of using an e-bike is the ability to descend easily to the seafront — a section that would otherwise be physically demanding. Guests are welcome to bring their swimming costumes and enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear waters before continuing the ride. This beach stop is entirely optional and can be enjoyed at each rider’s own pace. Spacious pannier bags are provided to safely carry personal belongings.

With a total elevation gain of approximately 423 metres, this tour offers a satisfying sense of achievement without being overly demanding. Whether you are new to e-biking or an experienced cyclist, this route delivers a perfect balance of adventure, comfort, and independence.
